Collaborators

We are part of several consortia working on projects supported by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme, including

  • The Respite project on sensing, image processing, and neuromorphic computing for medical imaging and more
  • The Hybrain project on hybrid electronic-photonic architectures for brain-inspired computing
  • The Phoenics project on photonics-enabled petascale in-memory computing with femtojoule energy consumption

Other projects include

  • The Fun-COMP project on functionally-scaled photonic computing technology
  • The WAFT project on wearable and flexible technologies

We are thankful all the great partnerships we have had with current and former collaborators in the aforementioned projects, with several researchers and engineers Salience Labs and formerly at Bodle Technologies Ltd, our group’s spinouts, as well as with

  • Dr Matthew D Brookes and Dr Jordi Barrr, DSTL, Porton Down, UK
  • Dr Francesca Parmigiani, Microsoft Research Cambridge, UK
  • Dr Bernd Gotsmann and Dr Abu Sebastien, IBM Research - Zurich, Switzerland
  • Dr Michel Despont, CSEM, Switzerland
